BeingHealthier.com in every aspect of life
In two short semesters, I will have completed a Master Degree in Human Nutrition. I am also pursuing the additional credentials of Registered Dietitian but would like to continue on to obtain a doctoral degree in Public Health. I started this blog as a creative outlet, fascinated by the information I learned every day in my studies. I hope this is a way for those in search of healthful, creative ideas to find an outlet as well. Connecting with others that have the same passion is what life is all about, in this case, that passion is healthful eating, cooking and living

I started this blog as a food diary – a way to hold myself accountable to my healthy lifestyle goals – but discovered instead a renewed passion for cooking, writing and most of all, photography. Over the last few months bella eats has transitioned from a daily journal to a 3-ish times per week logging of specific recipes and stories, giving me more time to experiment in the kitchen and to put more effort into my writing, an area that I am hoping to improve. I look forward to seeing how the blog – and I – continue to grow. Thank you for reading!

WELCOME to the Care Homes Guide
An informative, easy to use website for people searching for care homes, retirement properties, care products and services based on their location, provision of care and specialities.

My diet and nutrition philosophy is simple: How does what I eat affect myself and the world around me? I view food from an ethical standpoint. Eating is something we do every day – that makes it a powerful tool. It is also something that is very difficult to change because it is so ingrained in our every day lives.

Carrots ‘N’ Cake
I love food, and I love eating! While I try to fill my diet with mostly healthy foods, I have a number of favorites that are not necessarily nutritious, but are still delicious and fun to eat. If eaten in moderation, I believe that the “bad” foods can be part of an overall healthy diet. This food philosophy is the inspiration for Carrots ‘N’ Cake.
